Self Drive Tour
Day 1
Upon arrival at Cape Town international airport, you will collect your
rental car and drive to your accommodation, where you will spend the next 4
nights on basis of bed and breakfast. Depending on your preference,
accommodation can be arranged in a B&B, Guesthouse or Luxury Hotel.

Day 2,3,4
Spend the next 3 full days to explore and enjoy the different tourist
attractions in Cape Town and its surroundings! Enjoy a wine tasting in one
of the winery areas around Cape Town, pay a visit to Robben Island, where
Nelson Mandela was held prisoner for years, clime the famous Table Mountain,
or go and enjoy the multitude of indigenous plants in the beautiful
Kirstenbosch Gardens.
Day 5
Today the time has come to pack your bags and leave Cape Town. Your next
destination is Hermanus, famous for sightings of the Southern Right Whales
from June to November every year. Enjoy the various beaches, take the chance
to have a look at great white sharks, or visit the Old Harbour Museum.
Overnight in Hermanus.

Day 6 & 7
In the morning after breakfast it is time to leave Hermanus and drive
towards Mossel Bay, George and finally Knysna. Knysna is one of the Southern
Cape coast's best known holiday destinations, situated between lush forests
and the shores of the peaceful lagoon - it offers many activities and
attractions of a wide variety, one of the most spectacular being the Knysna
Forest, which is still evident in many places within the town as well. Spend
2 nights in Knysna .
 Day 8 & 9
Today you will move onward to Storms River, adjoining the Tsitsikamma
National Park. The Park is internationally recognized for its forests which
harbour and conserve the giant Outeniqua yellowwood - one of the few true
monarchs of the world's forests. This enormous tree is one of the most
successful species in existence, having survived unchanged for millions of
years. Tsitsikamma National Park is also Africa's oldest and largest marine
reserve, playing a vital role in the preservation and conservation of marine
fauna and flora. Tourists, and particularly hikers from all over the world,
visit the area which is known for its rugged, unspoiled coastline - a
photographer's dream. Spend 2 nights in Tsitsikamma on basis of bed &
breakfast.
 Day 10 & 11
How about spending the last few days of your holiday in the African bush in
complete luxury and comfort? Enjoy your African bush experience in one of
the 5* game lodges just outside Port Elizabeth. The area is malaria-free!
 Day 12
Unfortunately this holiday has now nearly come to an end. After breakfast it
is time to check out and find your way to Port Elizabeth Airport, where you
will drop off you vehicle and catch your connecting flight back to Cape Town
and then back home. This is the end of an unforgettable journey!
